[From an Energy Wire article by Michael Soraghan, sub. req’d] U.S. EPA has issued its final report on man-made earthquakes related to oil and gas drilling activities after 3½ years.

The report suggests a decisionmaking process for state and federal officials dealing with wastewater injection wells that might be causing earthquakes. When earthquakes persist despite restrictions on the operations of a disposal well, the report says, “conditions may not be suitable to disposal operations at that location…”
